This years All-Star weekend starts Saturday February 8 with the Super Skills competition and continues on Sunday February 9 with the clash between the North America All-Stars and the World All-Stars.

8-2-2012 NHL All-Star Skill Competitions
The annual All-Star event kicked off today with the skill competitions. Team North America and Team World competed in six different races and the fans got to see their stars shine.

Team North America won the puck control relay with a team of Steven Stamkos, Sidney Crosby and Kyle Turris.

Marian Gaborik of Team World won the fastest skater competition, beating Duncan Keith in the final.

Zdeno Chara of Team World won the hardest shot competition with a result of 95 MPH, beating Jarome Iginla in the final.

Steven Stamkos of Team North America won the accuracy shooting competition, beating Evgeni Malkin in the final.

Roberto Luongo of Team North America won the goalie competition (pass&score), beating Henrik Lundqvist in the final.

Team North America won the breakaway relay with a team of Sidney Crosby, Steven Stamkos and Zach Parisé.

The yearly clash between Team North America and Team World will take place tomorrow.

Team North America has won the annual NHL All-Star game with a score of 13-11. Game MVP was Sidney Crosby.

A native of Canada, Sidney Crosby was originally drafted to the NHL by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1st round of the 2005 entry draft. This years All-Star weekend starts Saturday February 9 with the Super Skills competition and continues on Sunday February 10 with the clash between the North America All-Stars and the World All-Stars.

9-2-2016 NHL All-Star Skill Competitions
The annual All-Star event kicked off today with the skill competitions. Team North America and Team World competed in six different races and the fans got to see their stars shine.

Team North America won the puck control relay with a team of Steven Stamkos, Mike Green and Sidney Crosby.

Marian Gaborik of Team World won the fastest skater competition, beating John Tavares in the final.

Shea Weber of Team North America won the hardest shot competition with a result of 83 MPH, beating Mikko Koivu in the final.

Sean Couturier of Team North America won the accuracy shooting competition, beating Evgeni Malkin in the final.

Calvin Pickard of Team North America won the goalie competition (pass&score), beating Semyon Varlamov in the final.

Team North America won the breakaway relay with a team of Mike Green, Sidney Crosby and Sean Couturier.

The yearly clash between Team North America and Team World will take place tomorrow.
